The service needed was my state inspection, tire rotation, and a replacement for the windshield which was done third party but at the Hallman service department. My complaint was that the process of getting the windshield replacement taken care of was very complicated and difficult. I was told by the finance department that this could be taken care of by the service department of the dealership but they said that they do not repair or replace windshields. It took about a week to get everything straightened out. Apparently it was the first time the service department has dealt with the warranty I received upon purchase of my vehicle which is the main reason for the complication. I think overall, my experience with Hallman Chevrolet has been decent but so far dealing with repairs covered by warranties I paid for have been excruciating and almost leave me feeling like perhaps it isn't worth it in the future to pay for these warranties. It was a very long day, but I think I got everything done I needed to

I’m still learning about the dash cam, the service, provided. That is on me to be comfortable with it. My question is: I initially brought my truck in, and it was unable to be installed the day I initially brought it in10/10/25. I had to bring it in again 10/17/25 to have it installed. As a courtesy, the agent said that I could have a free oil change. I had over 60% oil life, at the time, and opted to ask if I could get a voucher. The agent signed the back of his business card saying “free oil change”. Is this ok? It is not official by any means. Am I going to be hassled when I go to redeem it? It was hard enough trying to get the service desk to answer the phone,(6+ calls,2+voicemails), prior to scheduling and having the service performed to believe that this will be acceptable. I do not believe this acceptable, don’t want more issues and another trip to get it performed. Can I get an official confirmation I can get an oil change when needed?

My truck came in running fine with manifold problems. That work covered by warranty,all good. I picked it up running terrible with 4codes showing and I had to pay $600 for plugs and wires to get it running right again. I wouldn’t expect the dealership to give me a free tune up but I think they could have done me way better justice than this. My truck is running good now and I bought it at Hallman but really doubt I’ll be back. It was also there for over a week.

My High Country Tahoe's engine is under recall. During this last visit it had some "testing" completed which indicate it was ok and the oil was changed to a higher viscosity oil. I want to know exactly what testing was completed, the results of that testing, and what data indicates that a higher viscosity oil is required. Apparently something is wrong if a change in oil was warranted!

Super friendly staff from the get go. I was there as they opened for the day as my scheduled time was 7am. Everyone was very positive and engaged, making my drop off easy. I was offered a ride to work but I declined as I already had alternate transportation arranged, but it was greatly appreciated. 1. Took 3 days to fix the issue because the wrong part was ordered. 2. Mechanic broke my spark plugs they were only a few months old before they were broken and I had to pay for the repair, they did give a discount on services for all the inconvenience, but obviously the mechanic needs to learn how to use a torque wrench the correct way and actually know the torque pounds required to put in spark plugs

Sitting and waiting 2 different days. The day I got the car I waited 3 hours to get into finance man Zach. 6:30 pm and I’m in a hurry a couple behind me. I signed for the extended warranty and then read it at home. Never heard the $3,000 dollars. Called Hall and said I’ll be down to take that off. No way did is see 0ver 3,000 dollars plus the rust proofing which I don’t want either. So another wasted day to sighn off and Zach didn’t give me a copy of them. I let Hall know and Zach was busy and he was supposed to email it to me and now I still don’t have it. I signed off the warranty on April 20. Nothing yet just wasted trips down there. Normally you sign something and you get a copy. Correct?? He just kept saying this will take awhile to go through. I let Widjet know everything that has happened. No Email yet on those declined extended warranty copies to me. I went through my sales guy. Hallmans has a bad name and boy they are right. I only got 9,500 for my trade in and I know it will go on a lot for alot more. Never again for me to go back and buy there!! Ms Mary Bemis

So, I only gave 4 stars and here's why. We first took the car in for service December 31, 2025 for check engine light on. Ultimately, there were multiple problems that were found, but specifically 2 issues for the check engine light....totalling approx $2100. The car was beyond standard warranty coverage, but we had purchased an extended warranty at time of purchase from the same dealership(where this car was being serviced). They were unaware of it...we had to provide the information to them.(why is that info not available in the computer to the same dealership when a vehicle comes in for repairs? Why did WE need to bring it up/find the information for them?) Luckily, the parts were covered under the warranty and were fixed. Then, just over 3 weeks later(Jan 2026), again, check engine light. This time we took the car immediately to them...they diagnosed the problem...problem covered under ext warranty AGAIN.....and so far so good. Very easy transaction the second time.

Someone ran a stop sign on Easter Sunday and hit me broadside in my two year old Chevy Silverado truck that I had purchased from Hallman. It was a rollover accident that resulted in a total loss for my truck, and my family and I all walked away from it with minor injuries. Sales Consultant Roger Myers kicked into gear right away when I called him, and I was in a new 2026 Chevy Silverado, almost exactly like my 2024, less than 2 weeks later.
