Why Erie Businesses Buy Their Work Trucks Here

We're a Chevrolet Business Elite dealer.

That means a dedicated commercial account manager who knows your fleet, extended service hours built around business schedules, work-ready loaners so your crew isn't sitting idle, and priority access in the service lane.

Medium-duty sales and service under one roof.

Most dealers in the region sell light and heavy duty and stop there. We handle 4500 HD through 6500 HD chassis cabs from initial spec through routine service- you're not driving to Pittsburgh or Buffalo for a diesel repair.

Upfit coordination, not vendor juggling.

We order the chassis in the right wheelbase and cab-to-axle dimension for the body you need and coordinate the build with regional body and equipment builders. You take delivery of a finished, work-ready truck instead of managing two separate vendors and two separate timelines. See our commercial upfit options.

GM-certified technicians who work on trucks every day.

Our service department is staffed by GM-certified and ASE Master Certified technicians handling Duramax diesel, Allison transmission, and emissions work in-house.

Commercial Service and Parts

Downtime costs money, so our service department is built to get commercial vehicles back to work fast. We handle Duramax diesel service, Allison transmission work, DEF and aftertreatment systems, brakes, tires, and Pennsylvania commercial safety inspections- including the more frequent inspection schedule that heavier trucks require. Schedule service online.

Fleet customers can set up parts accounts for faster ordering on common wear items, and Mobile Service+ is available for select work performed at your location instead of ours.

Service hours: Monday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM–1:00 PM. Closed Sunday.

Chevy Medium-Duty and Work Truck Questions

Usually not, but it depends on the truck. The federal line is 26,001 pounds. The Silverado 4500 HD, 5500 HD, and 6500 HD all sit under it, and a standard Pennsylvania license typically covers them. The largest Low Cab Forward models are rated above it. Towing can cross the line too, so tell us the trailer weight before you spec.

Chassis capacity, not powertrain- all three share the Duramax diesel and Allison automatic. The 4500 HD is lightest and easiest to maneuver; the 5500 HD adds frame and axle capacity, and the 6500 HD carries the highest ratings for rollback, box, and bucket work.

Cabovers turn tighter and see better, which wins on city routes and crowded job sites. Conventional chassis cabs ride better over distance and are simpler to service. If your trucks run short urban loops, look at the LCF first. If they run highway miles, start with the Silverado.

Two clocks run at once: chassis availability and the body builder's queue. In-stock chassis move fastest, factory orders take longer, and the upfit stacks on top of either. Ordering the chassis and body together compresses the total. Call with your configuration for a real date.

Yes. We order the chassis in the right wheelbase and cab-to-axle dimension for your body, then coordinate the build with regional upfitters. Dump, stake, flatbed, service, rollback, box, plow prep, and landscape are all common. See upfit options.

Most operators running these trucks will. Federal rules generally require a USDOT number above 10,001 pounds GVWR in interstate commerce, and Pennsylvania has its own intrastate requirements. Everything in this class clears that weight, so plan on it.

More often than a passenger vehicle. Pennsylvania puts heavier commercial trucks on a shorter inspection cycle, and trucks in this class qualify. We perform commercial inspections here, so the truck stays on one service schedule.

We service what we sell. We handle Duramax diesel, Allison transmissions, DEF and aftertreatment, brakes, and Pennsylvania inspections in Erie. That's why fleet customers consolidate with us- buying the truck elsewhere usually means servicing it elsewhere.

Yes. GM runs commercial incentive programs for qualifying business purchases, and larger fleets can register for a Fleet Identification Number that unlocks additional pricing. Programs change throughout the year, so call for what's currently live on your model.

Chevrolet covers medium-duty trucks with bumper-to-bumper and powertrain terms, plus separate diesel engine coverage. Terms vary by model year, so ask for the current numbers on the specific truck you're looking at.
